Terms-condition RUMAH
Article 1 – Definitions
Seller: NUMBER 44 S.R.L.S. UNIPERSONALE, with registered office at Via dei Giubbonari 44, 00186 Rome, Italy,
VAT / Tax Code: 17005291004, Unique Code: QULXG4S.
Operating under the trade name RUMAH, and managing the e-commerce website and customer service via ciaorumah@gmail.com
Buyer: any natural person (consumer) purchasing or intending to purchase a Product from the Seller through the Website.
Product(s): the made-to-order garments and accessories sold by the Seller under the RUMAH brand.
Contract: the sales agreement concluded between the Seller and the Buyer through the Website.

Article 2 – Applicability
- These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and deliveries made through the RUMAH website.
- Any deviation or amendment is only valid if expressly approved in writing by the Seller.
- Should any clause be deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
- The English version prevails in case of translation discrepancies.
Article 3 – Made-to-Order Production
- All RUMAH garments are produced exclusively on a made-to-order basis, following payment confirmation.
- Estimated production time: 2–3 weeks.
- Due to artisanal craftsmanship, minor variations in texture, color, or stitching may occur and are not considered defects.
Article 4 – Prices and Payment
- All prices are expressed in euros (€), including VAT (where applicable), but excluding shipping costs and customs duties for non-EU destinations.
- Shipping fees are displayed before checkout confirmation.
- Payment methods accepted: major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other secure gateways listed on the Website.
- Orders are processed only after full payment has been received.
Article 5 – Delivery
- All Products are made-to-order and individually produced after payment confirmation.
The estimated production time is 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the garment and order volume. - Once production is complete, orders are shipped from Bali, Indonesia, or other designated fulfillment locations.
Typical shipping times range from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the destination and courier availability. - The Buyer will receive an email with tracking information once the order has been dispatched.
Please note that tracking updates may take up to 72 hours to become active. - The Seller shall not be held responsible for delays caused by production schedules, customs inspections, or international shipping conditions.
- The risk of loss or damage to the Products passes to the Buyer once the order is marked as delivered by the courier.
- The Seller is not liable for delays, customs procedures, or transport damage occurring after dispatch.
Article 6 – Customs Duties and Taxes
- All orders are shipped from Bali, Indonesia. Therefore, import duties, customs fees, and local taxes may apply in the country of destination, including within the European Union.
- These costs are entirely borne by the Buyer and are not included in the product price or shipping fees.
- Customs duties, VAT, and administrative import charges are determined by the destination country’s authorities and are non-refundable by the Seller.
- If the Buyer refuses to pay customs charges and declines delivery, the parcel will be treated as abandoned and no refund or replacement will be issued.
- The Buyer is responsible for ensuring compliance with local import regulations before placing an order.
Article 7 – Returns and Withdrawal
- Because all RUMAH products are made-to-order, returns, cancellations, and exchanges are not accepted, except in the case of manufacturing defects or incorrect deliveries.
- The Buyer must report any defects within 5 days of receiving the Product, attaching photos to [ciaorumah@gmail.com]
- The Seller will evaluate the issue and may offer repair, replacement, or refund at its discretion.
- Return shipping costs are the Buyer’s responsibility, unless otherwise agreed.
Article 8 – Lost or Damaged Shipments
- All shipments are insured during transit until confirmed as delivered by the courier.
- In case of a missing shipment before delivery, the Seller will open an investigation with the courier.
- Replacement or refund will only occur once the courier officially confirms the loss.
- Once an order is marked as delivered, RUMAH cannot be held responsible for theft or loss thereafter.
Article 9 – Liability
- The Seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including customs delays, loss of profits, or third-party errors.
- The Seller’s total liability is limited to the value of the relevant order.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability in case of fraud or intent.
Article 10 – Intellectual Property
All designs, texts, photographs, and trademarks under the RUMAH name are the exclusive property of Number 44 S.R.L.S. Unipersonale. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or use is strictly prohibited.
Article 11 – Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, customs delays, transport issues, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
Article 12 – Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by Italian law.
- Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Milan (Italy), unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law.
